My 4-year-old nephew, Ray, was medevaced after falling this weekend and hitting his belly, causing him to become very ill. He was taken to the clinic and got a CT scan, which revealed a cancerous tumor in his kidney. He is currently at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where he underwent surgery to remove his kidney and the tumor, and a port was placed for chemotherapy.
Ray loves the Incredible Hulk, heavy machinery, playing outside, rock and roll music, and going to school. Just last week, he graduated from T&H Head Start, winning the award for the world's best comedian for his ability to always joke around and make everyone around him laugh ✨ My nephew is a ray of light; he means the world to us.
We anticipate that they will be away from home for at least 6 months and also away from their nine-year-old daughter, whom we hope to travel back and forth so she can see her parents and brother.
Please help support little Ray, my brother, and sister-in-law as they navigate through this challenging time. Ray has a long road to recovery and a bright future ahead of him. We understand that not everyone can provide financial support, and we are grateful for all of your positive thoughts and for sharing this post.
