Lil’ Lady needs a helping hand.

It was suggested to me by two of my dear friends that I create a fundraiser for my dog "child" Lil' Lady. She's been having urinary problems for a few months. She was treated for a UTI back in LA, with two courses of antibiotics, but that didn't work.

After arriving in Texas, my friend Marsha in Austin kindly took Lil' Lady for some weeks and also brought her to the vet. Lil' L was treated with another course of antibiotics, and the doc gave her an ultrasound which didn't reveal a mass. But without the main test for cancer, he wouldn't know for sure if it's that or not. But that's what the Austin vet thinks it might be.

I brought Lil' Lady back home on Friday. It's been so nice having her here again, along with Dash and Nell, her dog siblings, and Ronan and Ruby, her cat siblings, all of us together.

Lil’ Lady goes on walks with us, no problem, still has a pretty darn good appetite, (loves treats!) although she is a little thin.

She also have watery, bloody discharge come out when she sits or lays for a long time. She seems to understand this though and tries to keep herself as clean as possible! Hard to believe… she’s such a smart and thoughtful girl.

I have not yet found permanent work since my move, although I've had a few nibbles, and have only been able to pay rent and expenses by selling musical equipment and borrowing money from friends. This move has been a leap of faith from the beginning, and we’ve just passed the eight-week point.

Going to the vet is out of the question without help.

I figured the next time we'd go is when she's in too much pain and has to leave the earth, but it would be so great to see if there's a course of treatment from the country doctor out here, that might help this sweet girl.
