Lil J's Action Track Wheelchair

I was wanting to suprise lil J with this wheelchair once I seen it, but of course with social media that would be hard to do. So we chose to do this together. We were at the lake one day and seen one on a front porch that belonged to a vietnam vet. But once we seen it we had to go ask the guy about it, which he gladly showed and told us about it. He even offered to let lil J take it for a spin, which we gladly accepted. As soon I put J in it, he instantly smiled and took off. I knew I had to get him one!
My son Jason has Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy and is 14 years old. Jason is a kid who loves going hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Jason currently has a wheelchair that isn't built for being outdoors, it gets stuck and will tip very easily as well. So we're very limited to what we can do, and where we can go with it. I've been wanting to do this for awhile now, but this past hunting season he was still pretty weak recovering from a major back surgery. In which they put rods down his spine and made his back permanently straight. So he is really top heavy and very scared of tipping with his current chair. With this trackchair it reclines and can even climb stairs, it'd be pretty hard to tip this one and it's freaking awesome I also don't see it getting stuck in anything either. This chair gives us the oppurtunity to get back to hunting and fishing and going to alot more places that are currently restricted due to access by his current chair. So our goal for this chair to get all the bells and whistles will cost a total of around 15k. The foundation that I'm doing this with is, Carlson Mobility. They have already approved us a grant of 2,000 to go towards the chair. That leaves our targeted goal at 13,000. I just want to say that it's not about the money as much as it is the support. So please don't put yourself in bind, I'm really just trying to show lil J all the support he does have out there. If ya can't donate, please just show your support and share away.
