Hello, my name is Jackie, and I am Lil’ Bunny Sue Roux’s mom (she is Roux for short). Roux is an 11-year-old two-legged cat, as she was born without her front legs. Roux is currently not doing well. We brought her to an emergency vet hospital late Wednesday night (October 8th) after observing she was not feeling well and was having GI issues, including severe vomiting. Her condition worsened very quickly and she went into sepsic shock. This was an incredibly scary diagnosis and grave prognosis. On Thursday (October 9th), she was transported to a critical care unit at a different sister emergency hospital and has been there since then. She has been taken care of so well by all of her medical teams and treated like the special baby she is. We are doing absolutely everything possible to save her life. This unfortunately means her medical bills are skyrocketing and are now close to $8,000. Any donation to help save Roux is so very appreciated! I will provide updates here.
