Hello! My name is Tyler Milicic, and I am a NEOhio writer, director, and performer. I am currently obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Dance, with a concentration on Direction, at Cleveland State University, and planning on attending CSU to obtain my masters in playwriting, in association with the NEOMFA program. Alongside my creative partner, Charles Ligus, a music education major at Bowling Green State University, we’ve been creating Like You: A New Musical for the past four years. I’ve always loved getting the chance to create original works; including producing my original play Fools last year (which also featured an original song by Charles and I). Now, we find ourselves ready for the next chapter in our journey.
This summer we are recording our concept album for Like You: A New Musical. In May, we will be recording the orchestrations at Bowling Green State University. Then in the summer we will be recording vocals in a Cleveland recording studio. In total we’ll have thirty-one performers on the album (seventeen vocalists and fourteen instrumentalists). This is a behemoth task to undertake. While the industry professionals have teams and studio funding that assist them in creating an album, we don’t have those resources that the pros have. However, we are just as committed to creating and producing original art. Donations will go towards paying for recording studio / rehearsal spaces, vocalists and musicians. Any additional funds will be set aside for future productions and development of Like You: A New Musical! A donation of any size makes a difference and would be greatly appreciated. $25 - $49
- All of the rewards from the previous tier.
- Early Access to a behind the scenes look at the creation and collaboration in creating Like You: A New Musical (More details TBA).
$50 - $74
- All of the rewards from the previous tier.
- Commemorative Like You: A New Musical Original Concept Album “Playbill”. Including bio’s from all of our vocalists, musicians, creators and more!
- Producer credit in the Commemorative Concept Album “Playbill”. (Deadline to donate and receive this reward is August 8th, 2025)
$75 - $99
- All of the rewards from the previous tier.
- Early access to the Like You: A New Musical Concept Album
- Producer credit in program for Like You: A New Musical’s first in person performance.
$100 or More
- All of the rewards from the previous tier.
- Invitation to join the vocalist recording session for up to two hours. (Deadline to donate and receive this reward is August 8th, 2025)
- Have your commemorative “Playbill” signed by the vocalists and creators. (Deadline to donate and receive this reward is August 8th, 2025)
- All producer credits are upgraded to “Executive Producer”. This includes commemorative “Playbill” and program for the first in person performance of the show. (Deadline to donate and receive this reward is August 8th, 2025)
