Help People Like Mike from Depression

Its taken me four years to humble myself and share this with you. This Vision is too big for me to accomplish alone. I NEED your help. I want to help people like Mike, like You, like Others.

Michael was witty. Delivering one-liners in monotone fashion, he set groups of people roaring with laughter. Sharp and creative, he turned the dumbest phrases into the best comic relief.

Michael wasn’t just my brother but my buddy. I wanted to do every 

activity with him growing up. We explored our backyard together, we did science experiments together, and we motivated each other to walk up and talk to our crush. Michael was my brother, my buddy, my hype man.

Until depression hit.

Days turned into years as the vitality in his spirit dwindled. Depression showed itself in his low energy, his missed days of school, his hospital visits. On February 12th, 2020, Michael went missing. Hours later, I got the call no one wants to get on their lunch break:

 “… your brother…” my mother paused. “He’s gone. They found him…”

Michael could be you. He could be your mother. Your father. Your daughter. Your best friend. Your significant other. He represents all who have dealt with depression. And anyone currently wrestling with it.

I want to help people like Mike, like You, like Others.

I want to lead a Tribe into Healing, Health and Wholeness for their Destiny. 

I’m already walking in this right now. I work at Chipotle, brightening the customer’s day beyond just making them a bowl or burrito. When people come in, a little stressed or depressed, it is my joy to give them an antidote of hope through my smile, sense of humor and encouragement.

… but I can’t help people in the capacity I want to, staying where I’m at. I need to branch out. 

My brother’s face is inked into my back for life to remind myself of My Passion and My Purpose: to help people like Mike, like You, like Others.

Here’s where I need YOUR help:

I want to build my own coaching company, earning my degree in Biopsychology as well to help qualify and equip me. My goal is to care for the whole person, specifically those dealing with depression, anxiety, addictions and so on. Nutritionists, therapists, addiction counselors and psychiatrists would be involved as pillars of this process.

I want to guide the person through every step of the process, helping them walk into the fullness of their gifts, talents and abilities as they walk out of despair and hopelessness.

But I NEED funds to fuel this Vision.
