Hi! I’m Rory Ferguson,

an all-round filmmaker in my final year at the Dutch Filmers Academy in Amsterdam. I’m currently kicking off production for my graduation project—and I need your help to bring it to life.

My passion lies in music video filmmaking, and my goal is to break into the industry with a portfolio that shows both range and originality. That’s why, for my graduation, I’m creating not one, but two unique music video projects—each with a completely different style, tone, and audience.

The Projects

To showcase the versatility of my work, I’ve teamed up with two very different music artists:

ARCHY – an up-and-coming rap artist. For this project, I’m directing a hyper-stylised, cinematic music video that blends striking visuals with bold, conceptual storytelling.

Henk Dissel – a well-known Dutch folk singer. With him, I’m creating an intimate, documentary-style video that follows his life on tour—offering a raw, behind-the-scenes look at the artist behind the music. We'll get to know Henk Dissel like never before.

Why Two Films?

These two projects are designed to showcase my creative range—from polished, stylised visual storytelling to natural, character-driven documentary work. I want to prove that I can work across genres, and bring a strong visual identity to any kind of music.

Where Your Support Goes
