My name is Carrie Peck and I am about to begin my 36th year of teaching, shifting from 32 years in grades 5-6 in elementary, to the past three years teaching high school English, speech/debate, and now Drama! I’m excited to start this wonderful journey with my high school students as we begin our 2022-2023 school year with a “dramatic” flair!
As you may know, funding for teachers, schools, and classroom materials is limited (to say the least). While most educators often pay out of their own pockets for classroom supplies, I am on here hoping that this generous community can pitch in a few dollars so that we can purchase items, props, scripts, etc. that will contribute to a successful drama experience for the students and our school. Often the performing arts struggles to get the funds to purchase stage equipment, props, costumes, backdrops, etc. It is my hope that through this fundraiser, we will receive enough donations to purchase these necessities for our school drama department.
Any contributions will help and on behalf of my students, our school staff, and myself, we are SO GRATEFUL ! Donations will go to Los Altos High School and used strictly for the drama department.
