Dear Friends, 

       As many of you know, the house where I lived in the Santa Cruz Mountains is now burned and gone. The voracious hunger of the CZU Lightning Fire consumed and destroyed it, with its contents, entirely.

       I am grateful that my body was not harmed, and that I am able to continue to participate in this precious gift of life.

       I had moved in 5 months prior and had just invested in making this my home and art studio. I am moving through waves of grief, acceptance, disbelief and bewilderment having lost so much in a single event including my own paintings, travel treasures, and the inventory for my emerging kitchen herbal business.

       As an artist who values beauty, I am learning lessons about how beauty lives beyond these objects. How to trust in life while offering up so much of what I care for deeply. And that my community network is stronger than I had previously known.

       Thank you to all who are making efforts to help me rebuild with every kind of support, including financial. For those wishing to offer cash donations, I am creating this page to direct funds for resources as I move forward.
