Hello. Marianne Lightle here...doing something I really don't want to do...but I no longer can ignore the fact that I need help.  

After my husband passed...I put on a brave face and struggled through, and with your support I was able to repair our 1997 durango to get myself back and forth to work and pay our taxes that we had owed, and catch up on the utilities.  

 Many people have asked me..."how are you doing Marianne?" This is how I am doing. I'm not. Im treading  water and going under. Its OVERWHELMING at times. We never were rich but we always had eachother, and if things were tight it wasn't as bad when you had someone to share your burden. Most people think oh isn't there a survivors benefit with Social Security?   And they're right...there is...but the surviving spouse has to be 60 to claim it. I'm not 60.  I work full time and still I am not able to keep up..  I have bills that used to be paid by the two of us...now its just me.. Please help if you feel so inclined. I certainly appreciate it.
