Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

We come to you today with heavy but hopeful hearts, reaching out for support for our beloved mother, Virginia. She has always been the rock of our family, the one who has held us together through every storm. However, now our dear mother is facing the biggest challenge of her life – a battle against a this disease that is making it difficult for her to eat solids and liquids.

As her children, we have witnessed our mother's strength and resilience firsthand. Despite the pain and uncertainty that come with her diagnosis, she faces each day with courage and a radiant spirit that refuses to be dimmed by this diagnosis. She truly is our "Rayo de sol" (ray of sunshine). But even the strongest among us need a helping hand sometimes, and that’s why we’re here, reaching out to our community for support.

Our mother's journey towards healing involves regular outpatient services, countless trips to the hospital, and the daunting burden of medical expenses that accompany such treatments. We want nothing more than for our mother to focus solely on her recovery, without the added stress of financial worries weighing her down.

This is why we’ve set up this GoFundMe page – to rally around our mother with love, compassion, and practical support. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering her medical expenses, ensuring she has access to the care, medications, special foods and treatment she needs to fight this battle head-on. Additionally, your donations will help ease the financial strain on our family, covering everyday living costs and allowing our mother to rest and heal without the financial strain. Our current goal is a rough estimate of expenses and can increase at any given notice but she has already spent 9 days and predicted to stay more days in the hospital to assure she is ready to come home.

Furthermore, we ask for your prayers and positive thoughts as our mother embarks on this journey towards healing. Your words of encouragement, prayer and love mean more to us than words can express, and they provide an invaluable source of strength and comfort during these challenging times.
