Lighthouse Building Project

For the past 17 years, Lighthouse Maidstone, a charity registered in England and Wales, has been serving the Maidstone Community through our various charitable activities, including, to name a few, our weekly Soup Kitchen for the Homeless Community, Christmas Hamper Project, Children’s Activities including Halloween and Christmas Parties and our Monthly Women’s Networking Meetings, bringing together women of all ages and walks of life

There is a lot more we can do and want to do, but we are severely limited by space. For instance, until a few years ago, we also ran a Food-Bank and Holiday Club but have had to suspend both due to lack of space to run them. We however continue to regularly receive enquiries from the Community for these services and it is heartbreaking to turn people in need away

An opportunity has presented itself for us to acquire a building, which will serve as a base for our charitable works. Acquiring this building will not only enable us to resume some of the services we have been forced to put on hold but also to introduce additional services for the benefit of our community.
