My name is Madeline M. On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, lightning struck my niece and her husband’s home, located in Victoria, Texas, my hometown.

They have 4 boys; 2 are special needs: one has cerebral palsy, one is legally blind with chronic lung disease, and another is blind in one eye. They lost most everything, including one boy’s wheelchair. They have insurance, but it will not cover everything. She is a Registered Nurse who works very hard.
