Dear Friends, Family and Kind Strangers,
My best friend and single mom is struggling through a very challenging and difficult season of life.
Her 17-year-old daughter has been bravely battling significant mental health issues, which have led them on a difficult journey through therapy, mental health facilities, and now into a residential treatment center. Each step has been taken with love and hope, as they strive to provide her with the care she desperately needs to heal and thrive.
While we remain hopeful for her daughter’s future, the financial burden of her medical care is overwhelming. Between doctors’ visits, therapy sessions, emergency room co-pays, and travel expenses, the costs continue to mount.
In addition to supporting her daughter, my best friend is also living with multiple sclerosis, which adds another layer of financial strain to her family. Between MS treatments and flare ups, which cause her to be hospitalized several times a year, everything is extremely overwhelming at this time.
She has a full time job in education and unfortunately, it does not cover the rising medical costs her family faces.
We are humbly asking for your support to help them navigate this difficult time. Your contributions will go directly towards:
- Medical expenses related to her daughter’s treatment
- Co-pays for therapy and medications
- Travel costs for appointments and visits
- Basic living expenses as we manage her family’s needs as she also has two teenagers at home to support.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in their lives and help provide the support her daughter needs to find her path to recovery. If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing our story with your network would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting this family. Your kindness and generosity will help us continue to fight for her daughter and ensure she has the chance to live a full, happy, and healthy life.
