Let There Be Light!

Electricity for the orphanage!!

Currently the orphanage does not have have access to electricity. In fact, most of Haiti does not have access to electricity.

While some may consider electricity a luxury, it is not. Without electricity the orphanage:

1. Is forced to cook with wood and cool, causing the air the children to breath to be dangerous to their health.

2. Has no  cold storage for food, leading to spoilage, waste and sickness.

3. Experiences great heat with no way to cool down.

4. Has no way to get their water from the well to the storage tank.

While the orphanage does have a generator to help with pumping the water, it is not the solution. They need access to electricity.

It will cost $5,500 to bring electricity to the children. Please consider making a donation.
