John Steinbeck asked "What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness?”

To this we would ask, what good is winter without the annual Winter Lighting on the Broadway Malls? Last year, we were able to light 20 malls from the Upper West Side to Washington Heights. The feedback we received from residents and visitors was tremendously positive because the lights lend a cheerful air during a chilly time of year.

A donation this year will help us light the malls from Thanksgiving through the end of February.
