Light up Charmouth with Christmas lights!!

Charmouth has had Christmas lights in The Street since Charmouth Traders first started funding them in 2011. We started with lights and trees outside the shops and added lamp post lights later on. The Christmas Fayre, also organised by the traders, completed the festive feel. This worked well until our lamp post lights contractor ceased trading last year. This happened late in the year so we didn’t have time to organise an alternative before December.

This year we need to buy the lamp post lights (rather than rent, as previously) which will mean a one off payment of over £2200. We need to raise this amount to buy the lights. Charmouth Traders will continue to fund the lights and trees on the shops and the erection and taking down of all the lights.
