Long over due update and appreciation post… My cancer is still responding to chemo really, really well! I began series 3 on Easter Monday and I just finished it up last week and let’s just say it was BRUTAL! It tested my mental strength and physical strength more than I have ever been tested in my life. I literally experienced every side effect of this super toxic chemo and let’s just say that the two of us did not get along but guess what, I made it through! Let’s flip back to the positive side of things… Today is FCPS’s last day of school. I am SO excited to have the kids home with me this summer! I wanted to take a moment to do an appreciation post for them (Vic’s is coming on our anniversary, I promise!). My 3 kiddos are AMAZING! They literally had their worlds flipped upside down in a split second and have had to continue to navigate this tough journey I am going through all while keeping up their grades at school and helping out more around the house. They all three managed to finish the school year so strong! Mallory and Felicity have held straight A’s all throughout their entire high school careers. They have all three stepped up their chore game in more ways than you can imagine (dishes, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, you name it they do it)! They have helped with my self care (changing picc lines, reminding me to take my meds, giving me spa days, wiping away my tears, reminding me to take it one day at a time and to celebrate even the smallest victories). They had to watch me go for chemo on big days like Christmas eve, Mother’s day, their birthdays, during their award ceremonies but guess what, each time I had to miss something or show up late they were quick to remind me that me getting better is what’s important and they have each other! ❤️ There are SOOO many more compliments I could give but I wanted to share something that our family all agrees that we have learned so far throughout this journey. Cancer sucks! It changes things in an instant, it makes you face fears you never thought you would face but on a positive note it brings you closer to the ones you love. It makes you work together as a team and it definitely makes you appreciate the little things that we often take for granted. Sorry for the long overdue post. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the continuous support, prayers, love and good vibes! More updates to come soon… Love, Jenn ❤️❤️

Pushed myself after chemo yesterday to go to the opening day movie with them and it was tough but they LOVED it. Especially Mallory and Wyatt!
