Hi, my name is Josie and I am writing to you from the Netherlands.

I’m asking for your help for Amal, a brave 14-year-old girl from the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza, with eyes full of light and potential.

When I spoke with her, I realized that no one was standing by her side. I know what it feels like to be left without help, to face hardship and injustice alone. That is why I want to bring hope into her life, to give her a chance to see the world, to dream, and to live beyond mere survival.

Hello, I am Amal El-Najjar from Gaza.

l have 2 sisters and 1 brother, together with our parents we live in a tent in the southern Gaza Strip after we lost our home in the north.

In light of these difficult circumstances, we are going through a difficult period of famine.

I hope we will overcome it. We suffer from diseases because of the polluted environment surrounding us. Unfortunately, there is no medicine.

We find it difficult to find water, as we go to far places and under the sun for a long time, and a lot of this sorrow.

Together, we can make sure that the light in her eyes never fades. Please be part of her tomorrow.
