My name is Gyamfua Owusu Engvik, and I am fundraising for Kwadwo Owusu village in Ghana.
Imagine this harsh reality: In Kwadwo Owusu village and other off-grid communities in Ghana, a child's education stops the moment the sun goes down. Hundreds of bright, eager students face total darkness, forced to rely on dangerous, polluting, and expensive kerosene lamps just to see after sunset. This means no homework, no extra reading, and dreams that dim along with the light.
We refuse to let darkness define their future.
Our mission is to provide durable, high-quality solar lamps to 50 schoolchildren in these off-grid village. These lamps are not merely devices; they are keys, unlocking the potential for hours of extra study time and brighter futures.
But our commitment goes deeper than light. In a beautiful act of environmental stewardship, for every solar lamp distributed, the schoolchildren themselves will plant a productive tree as part of Project Summit.
This initiative turns a simple transaction into a vital education. By planting productive trees, the students are giving back to their community and taking a direct role in securing a healthier future for their village and our planet.
Help us light the path for these students and plant the seeds of their success.
We need your help to make this dual vision a reality. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a profound difference.
Please consider donating today and sharing our campaign with your friends and family. Together, we can empower a generation to learn, grow, and build a sustainable future.
Thank you for your generosity and for believing in the power of light and green growth.
