Light a Lantern for Latana Rhodes in hopes a finding a liver

My name is Latana Rhodes. I have lived out of the hospital the last four years. As of December 2023, there hasn't been one month that I haven't spent weeks at a time in the hospital due to stage 4 cirrhosis, end-stage liver disease, and as of October 2024, I have ascites. All of which are terminal with no cure unless I can receive a full liver transplant.

It has taken me over a year and a half just to be able to get a referral with the actual transplant doctor from Baylor Scott & White. In the meantime, the daily struggles and the side effects of everything have put a huge decline on my health to the point I'm now in hospice care 3-5 times a week.

I'm asking if you can find it in your hearts to please help in any way you can. Whether financial, nutrition drinks, or words of encouragement would be amazing, as those words come few and far between now.

I'm naming this Lanterns for Latana. After all, lanterns bring a spark of hope in such a dark time. Thank you to everyone that has been there and kept up with my story the last few years.
