Light a Candle for Save Ukraine

Hello there, I’m Alan Young, also known as the musician Serious Child.

This Autumn, as the nights draw in, I'm asking you to light a candle for Ukrainian evacuees.

I’m raising money for Save Ukraine, a charity which specialises in evacuating children and other vulnerable civilians from hotspots in Ukraine and helping them to rebuild their lives. My brother Dave has been working alongside them as an emergency relief driver for the last year and a half and has saved over 1,000 civilians at substantial personal cost.

As part of this fundraising, all revenue from my latest EP - Light a Candle - will be donated directly to Save Ukraine. The EP itself is a set of songs celebrating Dave and his incredible work. I am also going on tour with Jo Beth Young across the UK and Ireland, where I will be asking audiences to contribute to this campaign.

I am hoping to raise a minimum of £500 in donations throughout the tour and EP launch.
