This fundraiser is for my son, Brandon Patterson. In July 2021, he was injured in a diving accident and suffered a life-altering spinal cord injury, paralyzed from the chest down. There is minimal conventional medical assistance available for this type of injury to regain any possible function. Brandon is determined and hopeful for recovery and works with an amazing and well-respected spinal cord injury team at React in Addison. This facility is a phenomenal neurological training facility that uses scientific principles to improve physical functioning and capitalizes on an individual's mental capacity to continuously strive to improve. Finding this group has been my son's best chance of recovery to the highest possible potential, and his strides to improve have been enormous and promising for even more advancement to an increased ability to function independently. The team at React is committed to serving others through improved movement and mindset. They are experts in neuro conditioning and continue to push the realm of recovery using innovative methods.
