Hello friends, this is Gigi — Zacki’s catering assistant and dear friend reaching out with some difficult news.

Last week, while working a catering event, Zacki suffered a terrible fall. She has a broken hip, a fracture in her C6 vertebra in her neck, and a large bump on her head. The doctors have performed a hip surgery, and she is now in a neck brace as she begins the long road to healing.

As many of you know, this is the busiest time of the year for Zacki’s business, and this has brought everything to a sudden halt. She will be unable to work for at least 6–8 weeks likely well into the new year and the financial strain during this already challenging time is significant.

I am setting up this GoFundMe to help support Zacki through her recovery, giving her some peace of mind as she focuses on healing. Anything you can give big or small will make a meaningful difference.
