Lifting Up Karlee and Her Son After a Lightning Strike
Donation protected
Early this morning, Karlee and her young son went through an incredibly frightening experience. While driving on Interstate 69 to drop her son off at school, Karlee’s car was struck by lightning and, within minutes, caught fire.
We are so grateful that Karlee and her son were able to walk away safely, though understandably shaken and experiencing some physical effects from the incident. Sadly, the vehicle was a total loss.
This comes after a season where Karlee had already navigated a few setbacks, including being sideswiped by another driver and dealing with damage to her car from a garage door accident. Through it all, she has continued to move forward with resilience, determination, and grace.
While Karlee has remained strong and focused on her goals, this unexpected event brings new challenges as she works to stay on track.
If you feel led, please consider making a donation or sharing this fundraiser. Every gesture of support — no matter the size — will be a blessing to Karlee and her son as they move through this difficult time.
Thank you for lifting them up with your prayers, encouragement, and support.
