Hi, I’m Maxine, and on July 28, 2025, my dad suffered a cerebral artery stroke that rocked our world. He’s always been the hardest worker and the one to take care of everyone else—but after working at a company for 20+ years, he was laid off in January and lost his insurance. He now faces a long and expensive road to recovery without any coverage.

Because of his atrial fibrillation (AFib), he’s at a much higher risk of having another stroke. He now has to take life-saving medication that costs $600 every single month just to prevent it from happening again.

On top of that, his hospital stay, emergency procedures, and medication are anticipated to reach at least $150,000—and the costs are still climbing. My parents are doing everything they can, but this financial burden is far more than they can handle alone.

My dad has always been the first to help anyone in need, and now I’d like to help him. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward his medical bills, medications, and recovery care.
