There are some souls who come into this world and, no matter how short their time, leave behind a light so bright it never truly fades. Pauliyana was one of those souls.

In December of 2024, Pauliyana was diagnosed with a rare and devastating form of brain cancer. From the very beginning, she faced her diagnosis with a courage far beyond her years. To her family, friends, teachers, and classmates, Pauliyana was known as a true ray of sunshine — a sweet girl with the warmest smile, the best sense of humor, and a heart overflowing with love. Her joy was contagious. Her love of life was palpable. Simply being near her made the world feel lighter.

More than anything else, Pauliyana’s greatest wish was simple and pure: to be surrounded by the people she loved. Honest human connection brought her the deepest happiness. Friends, family, laughter, and shared moments were what filled her heart — and she gave that love back endlessly.

After her diagnosis, Pauliyana endured a series of surgeries that profoundly affected her physical body, leaving her reliant on a wheelchair. But while her body was challenged, her spirit never was. She was undeterred. She fought with grace, strength, and determination that inspired everyone who witnessed her journey.

In November, after months of unimaginable hardship, Pauliyana achieved one of her biggest dreams — she returned to school. For a few beautiful weeks, she filled the hallways with her light once again. Her teachers and peers were overjoyed to have her back, and her presence reminded everyone around her what true resilience and joy look like. She was, and will always be, an inspiration.

Sadly, after being hospitalized from November through January, Pauliyana’s body could no longer continue the fight. While we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace, surrounded by love beyond what we can imagine, our hearts remain with the family she leaves behind.

Throughout this journey, Pauliyana’s parents and family not only endured the unimaginable pain of watching their beloved girl battle cancer, but also faced overwhelming financial strain — from medical bills and specialized equipment, to wheelchairs, ongoing care, and loss of income. Now, they are faced with the additional burden of memorial and burial expenses.

This fundraiser is an opportunity for all of us to come together and do what Pauliyana loved most — care for one another. Our hope is to ease the financial weight her family carries, so they can focus on healing, grieving, and remembering their precious girl without the added stress of financial hardship.

If you are able to donate, any amount — no matter how small — will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is an equally powerful act of love and support.

In Pauliyana’s name, we thank you for opening your hearts and caring for her family, just as they cared for her with endless love and devotion. Her light lives on through every act of kindness shared in her memory.
