Lifting Mel Up !

Melioidosis which is a life threatening bacterial infection caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei (B. pseudomallei). This is what had infected Mel & had her put into an induced coma in ICU for 3 weeks. Due to Mel’s diabetes her immune system is compromised which the life threatening Melioidosis spread rapidly throughout Mel’s body. Mel is now out of the Coma , also recovering from 3 life saving surgeries but not out of the woods yet. Mel is currently still in hospital 6 weeks later , with no discharge date in sight. Mel will be on medications for a long time even after she is released, also will be unable to return back to work or even basic home duties for quite some time after as she will need a long period of time to recover.

So although she is making positive progress, her bills don’t stop nor do the needs of her children. Some things are so unpredictable with life & this was something no one could have prepared for. Although Mel has some amazing help for the kids & her personally, her bills are piling up. So I am kindly asking, to help Mel & the kids out by donating some money to relieve the pressure off Mel so she can focus on recovering. She doesn’t ask for help but guarantee she would be so grateful & appreciative so every little bit. Please keep Mel & the kids in your prayers & thoughts. Thank you
