We come to you with heavy hearts to share the story of a truly remarkable man, Matt Peterson. On September 25th, Matt was admitted to the Genesis East ICU, where he underwent emergency surgery to address a life-threatening intestinal abscess. The surgery required the removal of part of his intestinal tract, and since then, Matt has been fighting for his life, currently on a ventilator and dialysis. This battle is far from over, as he will need more surgeries in the coming weeks.

Matt is not just a fighter; he is a pillar in our community. His passion for powerlifting and dedication to coaching have inspired countless young athletes, teaching them not only the power of strength but the importance of perseverance and hard work. He is a brother, an uncle, a coach, and a loyal friend to many. His infectious spirit and unwavering support have touched the lives of those around him, and now, he needs our help.
