She’s elbow-deep in real life and still finds time to make you laugh, drop off a coffee, or sweep in with the exact kind of help you didn’t know you needed. Her humor, strength, and faith run deep.

Now, as she begins a year-long journey of treatment, hospital visits, and healing, it’s going to take all of us to lift her the way she’s always lifted others.

Through it all, she’s still managing her household with her husband, raising four incredible kids, running two small businesses, and trying to keep life moving for everyone around her—because cancer doesn’t pause the laundry, the bills, or the love.

Laura is the heart and anchor of her family—the planner, the peacekeeper, the loudest cheerleader, and the quiet, steady strength behind it all. From middle-of-the-night cuddler to early morning breakfast maker, from taxi driver to late-night pep talker—she’s the one everyone turns to.

Whether she’s in the garden, mid-project, or trailed by her dogs, Laura is always tending to something with love. Her phone is full of snapshots from her photography business and messages from cleaning clients who adore her. She shows up with her whole heart for the people in her world.
