Lifting Joey up with wheels!

My story doesn't start with Joey at all! It was my sister Vida's turn to choose where she wanted go on her Birthday. Let's go to Vegas to celebrate! She invited the bruddah’s and Sista’s to a fun time on Tuesday, November 10th, 2021 at the Grandview Resort in Vegas.

 

Thursday night football is in a couple days and I wanted to spend it with Joey as we did in the past when in Vegas. He said 'NO', we gotta rent a Handi Van. They rented one to get to Vida's birthday party Tuesday night.

 

After Joey suffered a stroke over a year ago, the Handi Van is the only way to get our brother out to enjoy activities with his family and friends on his high tech wheelchair.

 

My Sista Luci and I rented the Handi Van anyway and spent some of the day and TNF together. We had fun but LOST betting on the Ravens. Just one day was worth it! (We will leave out the ‘What happened in VEGAS, Stays in VEGAS part.)

 

To provide Joey and Irma Andrade with a wheelchair accessible van would not only be the best thing but the most amazing thing for their entire family. 

 

So here we are today needing all of our FAMILY and FRIENDS' helping hands to ‘Lift Joey UP with Wheels!’ 

 

We are in the process of researching prices of a van that will be suited for Joey. Depending on the year, mileage and accessories, a van can cost anywhere between $25,000 to $40,000. I wanted to include some insurance coverage to be safe.
