Carrie (Rossi) Corteo has been inspiring, caring for, and supporting so many people in so many different ways since she came to Floral Park in 1992. Our strong, funny, and generous friend has been living with melanoma for three years. She’s had multiple surgeries and treatments, and always ‘carried’ on (see what we did there?) stronger than ever. So many people have offered to help. We set up this fundraising campaign to assist Carrie and her family with the unrelenting costs associated with this disease, its treatment, and basic expenses.

Unfortunately, since last September, the side effects from this cancer treatment have really packed a punch … Carrie’s been in and out of the hospital for months. And to add insult to injury, her cancer seems to be rearing its ugly head again. Will you help us carry Carrie’s burden for awhile and lift her up until she’s back on her feet?
