I am Nour Abuhamda, a registered Pharmacist. We were of a good financial family status. This war came unexpectedly and we lost all our belongings and 80% of our home has been destroyed, lost our belongings, leaving us behind with heartfelt sorrow and sadness.

A sister of mine is helpless in Rafah, with two young children a son and daughter needing to urgently flee out as they are suffering from malnutrition and anaemia. I need to desperately get them to me in Egypt. It will cost $5000 for my sister and $5000 for her two children.

Background:

I am Samantha and a friend of Nour’s from when we worked together at an international charity. I was so lucky to have met and spent time with Nour in Gaza, who was the most wonderful guide. Nour was in Egypt for work when the war started, she is now trapped there and cannot be reunited with her parents and siblings. It has been extremely difficult to be on the outside, wondering if her family will survive. Due to the war, she has not been able to find steady work but thankfully has had a short three month contract to help but this has come to an end. Any money has been supporting her family in their survival.

Nour and her family urgently need to raise $10,000 to get her sister and her two children out as soon as possible. I am hosting the fundraiser as it requires a US or British bank account.
