Lift Up the Keller Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
Life throws everyone curveballs from time to time, and sometimes you swing and get on base, maybe even a home run, and other times you strike out and feel defeated! The Keller family has seen their more than fair share of life’s curveballs lately, more than most! These curveballs, or life events, have been out of their control.
A few years ago, their family, Shawn, Deana, Skyla, and Danika, were rear-ended by a young driver not paying attention at 50 mph while they waited for traffic to turn into their subdivision. Incredibly, their girls were not seriously injured as they were sitting in the back seats, but Deana suffered severe whiplash, which resulted in a lot of medical bills and chronic migraine headaches. The medical challenges affected her job and caused her to have to step down from a higher-paid position and ultimately the loss of that job.
Shawn has his own medical challenges with many back surgeries over the years, which requires him to be on disability. However, Shawn is the first person to want to help someone else with any problems they have.
While Deana has been struggling with the chronic migraines the past few years, she was diagnosed with breast cancer! She began radiation treatment and several surgeries to hopefully beat it. Her treatments have affected her job and ability to maintain consistent hours at work due to the illness that comes from radiation treatments. She has persevered through it all to keep their family income as steady as possible, but the financial strain everything has imposed on their family has become a bit daunting!
Shawn and Deana are the last people to ever ask for assistance from anyone! They believe in being self-reliant and taking responsibility for the things that come their way, BUT, sometimes the things that life throws at you are out of your control and you can only do so much.
This family deserves a little help! This isn’t an ask for a handout for them, it’s an ask for a reaching hand to lift them up at this time of financial burden from all the medical bills and other expenses that can cause daily stress. They have sold many of their personal items to help pay for monthly bills and continue to do what they can to be self-reliant, but they could use some help from those that can give of their financial blessings.
Please consider helping the Keller family out during this time of medical and financial difficulties! No matter how much you can donate, small or large, will help ease their burden and lift them up to swing at the curveballs that continue their way!
