Lift up the Burr Family

Please support the Burr family as they navigate an unimaginable loss.

Christopher was Cassia's world, the kids' rock and a loved member of the Homer Central School family. He left us too soon on Thursday, September 26th after a brief illness.

Cassia, Eva (13), Lyla (12), Liam (11) and Ellie (10) are left without their partner in all things pirate, a date to the father-daughter dance, and without someone to share a turkey leg with at the Renaissance festival. To know Christopher and Cassia together was to understand pure joy, friendship and love, which they didn't hesitate to share with friends, their kids and co-workers every day.

Christopher brought his sense of humor, constant smile and patience to Homer Elementary as a teaching assistant. He made all kids feel special, going the extra mile to help each student know that they were part of a community that cares.

Now it's our turn to show we care; let's lift the Burr family up with our support. If you are able, please contribute so that Cassia can focus on herself and the kids and not worry about extra expenses or household bills.
