Lift Up Leroy

Hi Everyone,

My name is Teri and I am a close friend of Leroy's family.

Leroy is 19 years old. Read that again... 19 years old. In 2017 he was 13 years old when he was first diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. At that time; went through surgery and chemotherapy. In 2021, Leroy was 17 years old when he learned that his cancer had returned and spread to his lungs. After recovering from surgery again, this strong and determined young man went to South Florida Academy with his brother and received his certification and now works as an HVAC technician!

This July 2023, Leroy fell ill with intense stomach pain. After emergency surgery on his stomach and head; once again he was told the Osteosarcoma had returned after only a year and a half.

Leroy missed weeks of work and would have lost his health insurance had he not returned. He and his mother have paid for airfare back and forth to Memorial Sloan, uber rides, hotels, air b n b's. He will have to return to Memorial Sloan again in October. There is no treatment for Osteosarcoma.

This Go Fund Me is important to me because a 19-year-old with Sarcoma shouldn't have to worry about paying his rent, his car, groceries, gas etc. He should be enjoying his life!

The funds from this will be used to help alleviate Leroy's current and ONGOING financial stress! And also, god willing.. to spend time enjoying his life! Thank you so much! Prayers and Shares are welcomed!
