This is the story of struggling artists. If you feel that expression in your soul, then I am certain you will feel compelled to help my friend, Desiree Dedrick. As Stage Manager at Fountain Hills Theater, a singer in her church choir, and the promoter of her husband’s rising reggae band, Desiree is the definition of a supporter of the arts! Man, do we need those people right now! And, Desiree recently lost her day job as the Business Office Manager of a psychiatric hospital, not for a lack of skill or compassion, but merely because of a difficult working climate. This family has been without adequate income for two months while Desiree has been applying and interviewing and giving her heart and soul to our production of “City of Angels”!
