Lift Up Desiraya's Family in Their Time of Need

We are starting this fundraiser because after my C-section on 2/4/25, our baby Desiraya was not breathing on her own and so they had to do an x-ray and they found that she has CDH, which is a hole in her diaphragm which allowed her liver and her intestines to go through the hole and squished her lungs and pushed her heart over a little bit. Nothing is wrong with her heart though just her lungs are not developed like they should have been so they had to end up life lining her to Riley Childrens Hospital and we will be going up there today (2/5/25) and as a result of the severity, she will have to have surgery on 2/6/25 at barely 2 days old. She is expected to be at Riley in recovery for a minimum of 6 weeks and possibly longer. Due to this Desiraya’s father will need to take more time off of work that is not paid for (I was already off of work). The goal of this fundraiser is to help with expenses like gas to get to and from Riley, money for food, and to help with hotel rooms while we wait to be accepted into Ronald McDonald Housing at Riley Childrens Hospital.
