Lift Up Chase & Hannah With Love, Prayer, and Support

Our best friends, Chase and Hannah, were married just last June and started their life together in Jacksonville, Florida. They are two of the kindest, most giving people we know- full of joy, faith, and a deep love for one another. Their first year and a half of marriage was supposed to be filled with building traditions, settling into routines, and enjoying all the excitement that comes with newlywed life.

Instead, everything changed suddenly when Chase became severely ill.

For weeks, he was passed from hospital to hospital as his symptoms worsened with no clear answers. Eventually, his condition became so serious that he was admitted to Mayo Clinic for advanced testing and round-the-clock care. His illness has caused extreme, rapid weight loss and has made it incredibly difficult for his body to tolerate food. Despite countless tests, doctors are still working tirelessly to understand what is happening and how to help him.

Because of how sick Chase has been, he has had to go on disability from his job with Haskell. Hannah has not been able to work either, as caring for him has become a full-time job while managing appointments, advocating for him in the hospital, supporting him through procedures, and simply being by his side through an incredibly frightening season.

Hannah’s parents immediately traveled from Orlando to Jacksonville to help however they could. Together, they have been taking turns sitting with Chase at the hospital, helping with meals, and supporting Hannah emotionally as she navigates something no newlywed should ever have to face.

Chase’s entire family has also been steadfast throughout this journey. His parents and siblings have been praying, visiting, coordinating care, and doing everything in their power to support him and Hannah during this overwhelming time. His father, a priest at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, has been gathering their church community in prayer and offering spiritual support to both of them. Their families have shown incredible strength—but they can only carry so much on their own.

While their faith and family have been a source of comfort, Chase and Hannah also urgently need financial support to stay afloat. Between medical bills, lost income, travel, and the day-to-day costs of simply trying to survive this storm, the weight they are carrying is far too heavy for two young people to bear alone.

We are asking for any help you are able to give. Your donation will directly support medical expenses, living costs, and the stability they need while doctors continue working toward answers. No amount is too small, and every gesture of support means the world to them and to all of us who love them.

Thank you for taking the time to read their story. Thank you for praying, sharing, donating, and showing up for this incredible couple. Your kindness will help carry them through the hardest season of their lives.
