Support Cearra During Trying Times
My name is Rita, and Cearra Yates. On July 25, Cearra fell in the bathtub, she had to be cut out of the tub. Cearra is a stroke victim since age 8, and I am 61 and single. Cearra stayed in the hospital for about 2 weeks with OT and PT. I was not feeling well. I went to the ER and had a CT scan which incidentally found a tumor on my kidney that was malignant.
Since Cearra's departure from the hospital, we have been staying at a hotel because she is kind of a big girl and the emergency service had to cut the tub to get her out. Basically, I have spent the money I had. God has been good to us, but right now we need help. In the storm, we were accepted for a house. But my funds are depleted. Our move-in date is September 2, and we can't move in until then. So, we need to continue to stay at the hotel for safety purposes. It's a lot to process. I need a lift right now to help us during these trying times.
I was once working as a teacher, but no longer, and now work part-time. It's been rough since June, but I have kept the faith. I am not one to tell my trials, but I believe God knows my heart and we really just need help. Thank you for reading our story. We love you and thank you.
Love, Cearra and Rita
