Lift Up Amber & The Girls After Losing Kodi

Donation protected
Dakotah Sean Ollis, lovingly known as Kodi to family and friends, passed peacefully into the next world on May 4th, 2025, following the discovery of a fifth and final brain tumor on November 8th, 2024.

Husband. Father. Son. Brother. Uncle. Friend.
Kodi lived with a family-first heart, a deep passion for all things gaming, and a devoted love for the Lord. He is profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Since his diagnosis of this most recent brain tumor seven months ago, Amber, his wife, has carried the full weight of caregiving, parenting, and provision. She has been the family's sole provider—emotionally, physically, and financially—while traveling back and forth to Nashville for treatment, two hours each way, all without the safety net of life insurance. The costs of travel, medical care, hospice, cremation, and an upcoming memorial have added up quickly. She continues to care for their three daughters all of whom are preparing for college or trade school. She also carries on Kodi’s love by caring for their cats, which he cherished.

Amber is not someone who asks for help—but I know she needs it.
Throughout these past months, she and the girls have made do with very little support. I wish I had stepped in sooner, but I’m here now—asking on their behalf.

If you’re able to give—financially or otherwise—your help will ease Amber’s burden and honor Kodi’s legacy. Whether it’s a donation, a letter, a shared meal, or a small act of kindness, it will mean more than words can say. This family deserves not just compassion in the moment, but long-term care and connection as they navigate the life ahead.

In an ideal world, Amber and Kodi would be planning for empty nest years—college send-offs, future weddings, and grandchildren. Instead, Amber is left to cross those bridges alone. Please help me ensure she and the girls aren’t left to carry that weight without support.

Let us lift them up now—and in the months and years to come.
