Hello my name is Melody Baldridge and I'm Tyler Baldridge's Mamaw. Here's where Tyler's journey down this road began:

Saturday around 3pm Tyler was enjoying his day when he got startled and fell landing on his neck. He immediately lost use of his legs and could not stand. We rushed him to the ER in Kokomo where they performed xrays and CT scan. All negative, they rushed him via ambulance to Peyton Manning in Indy where we had a full back/spine MRI.

Results of that showed he had bruised his spinal cord, torn a ligament near C5, and loosened hardware from his previous spinal fusion. We will have emergency surgery tomorrow morning to fuse now C2 to T1 in his neck as well as a laminectomy on c6 and c7.

He has now had his surgery and is looking at a lengthy stay in an Inpatient Physical Therapy facility. There is going to be such a financial burden on his parents Zac and Brittany Baldridge. From missing employment income to gas and food expenses etc... Honestly friends, I'm terrible at the written word and I so wish you could just crawl in my heart to feel all the emotions I'm feels for Tyler, Zac and Britt.
