Hello,

My name is Tradara. I am in my early 30s and have recently been scheduled for an L5-S1 Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. In other words, MAJOR back surgery.  I will undergo emergency back surgery—a decision that couldn’t be delayed due to the severity of my condition. While the surgery is necessary to protect my long-term health, the aftermath will leave me in an incredibly difficult place physically and financially.

Doctors have advised a recovery period of at least 3 to 6 months, during which time I am unable to work. Being a mom and student will keep me busy; however, it doesn’t pay the bills. I’m doing everything I can to stay strong and heal, but the financial burden is more than I can carry on my own.

I currently drive for Lyft as my second job; however, it will be a few weeks before I am able to operate a motor vehicle. It will also be impossible to drive full-time due to medical restrictions.

I am humbly reaching out to ask for your support. Any financial help you can offer would go directly toward covering basic living expenses—such as monthly bills, household costs, and food—during this critical recovery period. Every dollar will make a difference and bring a sense of relief and stability as I focus on getting back on my feet.
