On 7/6/2025, the Marrero family, which consists of Edgar, Michelle, and their three children, were involved in a serious head-on collision while visiting some family in South Carolina.

By the grace of God, their three children were not harmed in the accident. However, both parents were injured.

Edgar has a fractured wrist and is suffering from internal bleeding due to a ruptured intestine. He has already completed two surgeries and a potential third one down the road. We have already been told he will be in recovery at the hospital for at least 1-2 weeks. However, he will have a longer road to recovery once he is out and back home as well.

Michelle has a fractured wrist and also sustained torn ligaments in her knee. She has been told that she needs to see a follow-up orthopedic doctor to determine if surgery is needed.

Tragically, Edgar was set to begin a new job following their return to Florida, which he now cannot start.

Michelle, who is a nurse here in Florida, will also not be able to work with her current injuries.

As a beloved family in our church and community, the Marreros have always been a source of light and love to others. Now, they need our prayers and support.

We are coming together to raise funds to help cover medical/travel expenses to come back home and to provide support for their needs during this challenging period.
