Beginning in August of 2021, Rodney realized he was quickly running out of breath and once simple tasks were becoming increasingly very difficult. He was tested for Pneumonia (x2), Valley Fever & COVID not knowing what was causing his breathing issues. Rodney was given multiple tests and lung biopsies until he received his diagnosis Interstitial Lung Disease / DIP Desquamative Interstitial Pneumonia.

Rodney has been meeting with many different specialists for treatment & answers. He has researched every option for treatment but as of recent days he was informed by his doctor that his illness is terminal and his breathing will decline over time making it more difficult to breathe, go up and down stairs and perform any physical activity. As you can imagine his life has been quickly turned upside down and he needs our help on this one like he has been there for all of us at our time of need.

Rodney is up against the clock on this one & as time progresses, his symptoms will also progress. While a long term solution is being investigated, there is one to help mitigate ongoing troubles - a Stiltz Home Lift installed in his home that he shares with his beautiful 12 year old daughter, Sarah. The sooner we can reach our goal, the better.

Rodney has been a local business owner in Tracy CA, servicing the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30+ years. Opening his commercial cleaning business in 1987, Rodney has employed 50+ employees and served 200+ commercial and industrial customers with integrity & compassion. Needless to say, Rodney has made a lasting impression on his community.
