Hi, my name is Owen Dion I’m 17 years old, and I’ve spent the last several years pushing myself to the limit through strength training, discipline, and relentless determination. This year, that hard work has paid off — I’ve qualified to compete in my very first national strongman competition: America’s Strongest Teen in Sacramento, California!
In the summer of 2024, I competed in my very first strongman competition, placing first. My second competition was in January 2025, competing with the men instead of teens, and I fell short of first by a few points but still secured second place. Since my second competition, I have put in a tremendous amount of work to not only better myself but to try and become the best version of myself. I involved myself in the National Honors Society for my high school and competed in varsity Track and Field, coming in second place for Division Two in shot put, third place for discus, and 8th place for javelin, finishing in seventh place for shot put in the entirety of New Hampshire at the Meet of Champions.
This is more than just a competition for me — it’s a chance to step onto a national stage, represent my journey, and chase a dream I’ve poured everything into. I’ve never competed in a strongman event like this before, and I’m incredibly excited (and grateful) for the opportunity.
But getting there isn’t easy — and that’s where I need your help.
I’m raising $3,500 to cover the costs of:
Travel to and from Sacramento
Lodging during the competition
Meals and basic expenses for the trip
Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to this amazing goal. Your support will help me focus on what matters most: showing up strong, staying true to my training, and giving it everything I’ve got.
If you believe in hard work, big dreams, and lifting others up, I’d be incredibly grateful for your help — whether it’s donating or simply sharing this campaign with others.
Thank you so much for believing in me. Let’s make this journey unforgettable!
— Owen Dion
