Michael was in San Diego working on a design project when life suddenly changed. He suffered a debilitating stroke that left him hospitalized and unable to work. During this crisis, doctors also discovered that he had pneumonia, undiagnosed diabetes, and high blood pressure. To make matters worse, they believe he unknowingly suffered a silent heart attack prior to his stroke.

Michael is in the midst of relocating from Los Angeles to San Diego, but his medical condition has made this transition extremely difficult. He’s now facing not only serious health challenges, but also the urgent need for stable housing and support.

He won’t be able to return to work for the foreseeable future and is in need of help to cover medical bills, basic living expenses, and housing while he focuses on recovery.
