We recently lost Laurel, and there are a lot of people who loved her who want a space to come together and honor her. There won’t be a large public service, so we’re putting something together for her friends, community, and everyone whose life she touched.
Laurel lived a full, vibrant life. She was a mother first, and everything she did reflected that... her strength, her drive, and the way she showed up for people. She was a trainer, a competitor, a musician, a mentor, and someone who brought people together in a way that made you feel seen, challenged, and capable of more than you thought. She had a presence that’s hard to describe unless you experienced it... intense in the best way, full of energy, and always pushing the people around her to grow. Whether you knew her through the gym, her coaching, music, or just everyday life, she left a lasting impression.
To me, she meant everything... and I know I’m not alone in feeling that she made people better just by being in their lives.
This gathering will be a place to share stories, play her music, and celebrate who she really was... not just one version of her, but all of them. We’re keeping it simple and real... just a space for people to show up, connect, and remember her together.
Funds will go toward:
- park/pavilion setup
- printed photos and memory displays
- audio/equipment
- creating something lasting in her name
If Laurel impacted you, even in a small way... you’re part of this.
