LOVING CYBELE BACK TO HEALTH

Three months of help, a lifetime of gratitude...

My beautiful friend Cybele urgently needs our help.

In the early hours of June 2nd, around 4 A.M., Cybele got out of bed, lost consciousness at the top of her bedroom stairs, and fell down the entire flight — crashing into a heavy bi-fold door at the bottom. Her son found her unconscious beneath the broken door, and she was rushed to a trauma center in Westchester.

By God’s grace, Cybele will recover, but she suffered a fractured shoulder blade in two places. She is in pain, unable to lift or use her arm — and for Cybele, this means she cannot work for at least three months.

Cybele makes her living as a gifted massage therapist and as a beloved teacher of sourdough bread baking — two beautiful vocations that require strong, skillful hands and arms. Right now, her livelihood is completely paused while she heals.

Let me tell you who Cybele is:

When my own mother was incapacitated, Cybele came to the hospital to give her Reiki and gentle massage — and to lift my exhausted spirit. She has cheered my son on at his plays, attended my events, and was the first to call me with encouragement when I found myself alone and overwhelmed, clearing out my mother’s belongings in Texas.

Cybele is the kind of soul who shows up for people — quietly, generously, and with open hands and heart. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.

She is doing everything she can to heal: seeing a therapist, receiving PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) therapy, red light and cold laser therapy — all gifts from her fellow healing friends. But she has no savings to cover her living expenses for these next few months while she cannot work.

Every dollar makes a difference. Truly.

Mother Teresa once said, “It is not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.”

Let’s wrap Cybele in love and let her rest without fear of falling behind on rent or bills. Together, we can lift this burden from her shoulders so she can focus on mending the ones that are broken.
