As many of you know, on June 19th, my brother-in-law Cody was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. It's a phone call no one should receive. After being life-flighted, these past few weeks have been a whirlwind, especially for Jon and Brenda. Cody suffered 4 broken ribs, 5 vertebrae, a left broken wrist (his dominant hand), and a shattered pelvis. He recently had surgery to repair his shattered pelvis with plates and pins. Now, in a rehab hospital, the work begins in healing and learning to walk again.

Sean, myself, along with his parents, are now getting the house ready for his transition home as he will be in a wheelchair for quite a bit, and we are working through our homecare preparation. With the inability to work, mounting medical bills, and medical equipment we need to purchase, I am reaching out to those who know, love, and care about Cody for help. Our gentle giant would give the shirt off his back for anyone, and he needs us more than ever. It takes a village and Any small amount helps to take some of the burden away from Cody so he can focus on getting his strength back and back on his feet.
